Our chemical sieving operations cater for the removal of oversize particles and contaminants from materials by sieving through sifters and vibratory sieves. Screen sizes vary dependent upon the client’s instructions but our equipment is capable of sieving most free-flowing materials. We work with partners that provide sieving of food grade materials in BRC-accredited food suites and others that screen materials for industrial markets.
An example included sieving a carbon-based material, under control, through a stainless steel sifter to eliminate larger particles. This introduced a kibbling action breaking up the majority of the compacted material whilst removing any oversize. The in-spec product was collected and packed off whilst the oversize was collected separately.
